I've had my case for about a year now. One last thing; you have to open the case to charge the PSP. I do wish the compartment for the PSP "grabbed" and held the PSP as well.
The case does its job by adding another layer of protection and some storage. Since the PSP isn't held firmly in place it can rattle in the case and so, over the last year, the left edge of the hinged screen cover has developed a rub mark on the face of my PSP. I use it all the time and this is the main things I noticed about it.
The hinged screen cover protects the screen but rarely latches. The case is has a rubbery lining. The holders for the UMD's work fine.
Just to the right of the "P" of PSP. It's not a big deal but they provide a cutout in the case to allow for this; it seems it should work then.
well its slighty crooked, to the right, may just be mine, and I am extremely picky, so it may not even bother you. Only real cons are, even though you can play the PSP inside it, it makes it quite bulkier, but I loved this since the thing was so small it makes my 4th and 5th fingers go numb, now no more.
It fits very well around the PSP, while leaving shoulder buttons, charger port, and headphone port exposed for use. This what I have been looking for, for a long time.
I hate flopping out, its the worst. It will hold 2 UMDS along with your PSP SLIM (2000), but has a foldable screen protector that comes down and locks the PSP in, so despite the extra room (used or not) doesnt cause the PSP to flop around inside like the Logitech slim case.
When you open the lid the screen protector still stays locked in so your PSP doesnt flip out. Also, the screen protector, that stops it from flopping around and damaging the screen.
Also since the case, for your convience, leaves a few ports and jacks open it lets in dirt and dust, so I wrap it in a cloth and then take it with me in my bag, but again I am extremely picky, so it may not even bother you.A bit long, but I really wanted to get it out there since i bought, tried, and returned many cases because they were pure garbage.Hope this helps.

Snug, form-fitting rubber. I've had too horrible dropping incidents. The big minus. Both times the PSP was unharmed. You can play games with the PSP in the case. All true. You've read the other reviews. Both times the case came open and the PSP came out.
The PSP travel case saved the PSP. The PSP was in the case both times. I have not had a single problem due to the drops.Get this is you want to protect your system. That's a minor problem.Does it protect the PSP. A screen to protect the PSP screen. It would have been better if the case didn't open, but the way I see it, the case took the brunt of the impact, it opened and the PSP kinda slid out.
The headphone jack is covered up, so you can't just listen to phones with the PSP in the case. Most definitely. (That's fairly accurate as to how both incidents played out). In fact, I think it's as essential as a charger and Memory Sticks.
There were a few deciding factors in picking this up over the other case out there:It is an official SonyIt carries to UMDs with the caseand the other reviews said it is very sturdy.All of these positives were true but there was one glaring weakness when receiving this case, it is just too big for a slim PSP. I knew that when I bought my PSP I needed it to have some sort of protection. I noticed this fine little piece of hardware when searching for some case. The case allows for the slim to rattle a little bit inside the case. So with a little modding, some laying around foam and krazy glue, it works great, now I just need to paint it.
